Feel Teal Talk: It's a God thing
This show's theme is a recurring "cosmic connection". Christin Nicholson found out about the Feel Teal Club through a connection with our previous guest Julie's daughter, Sarah. In addition to experiencing another very touching tribute, you'll be inspired by how our newest Titan of Teal is setting an example of spreading the message of awareness with her own daughter. Updates include: Endometriosis Linked to Higher Ovarian Cancer Risk, Ovarian Cancer National Alliance FAQ's, read all about it in the February/March issue of Feel Teal Magazine, and news about Teal Ribbon Day in Australia from Deb Stevens. You host shares a behind-the-scenes road trip into "The Making of a Book Video Adventure". Thank you for your continued support of this podcast by keeping it real and feeling the teal! Turbo Quilter Feels the Teal!
We're continuing the creative journey with our Teal Awareness Quilt project. Our guest, Leona Harden (a.k.a. "Turbo Quilter"), loves to further the joy of the craft of quilting. Earlier this week her organization, Serenity Mountain Quilts announced "Quilting on the 2nd teal quilt for charity is FINISHED" and posted a photo of this labor of love that truly has been a team effort. Updates include: The Cancer Has Cancer Foundation's link to an article from WebMD, Antioxidant Riches Found in Unexpected Foods... The Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance announces its Comedy for a Cause event... and Feel Teal Club founder Deb Stevens spreads Ovarian Cancer Awareness at Feel Teal Day with her local community in Australia. Your host (who was not blessed with the arts & crafts gene) shares a blast-from-the-past road trip from her book, "Floor It!" Thank you for your continued support of this podcast by keeping it real and feeling the teal! Tune in to Feel Teal Talk HERE.

Episode 12: Teal Hope
This week we're featuring yet another Titan who is giving back by sharing her artistic talents. Last week's episode included an introduction to Lee's Hope Jewelry which features a beautiful selection of hand-made, one-of-a-kind creations. Sarah Schlichter Weighknecht is continuing the legacy of her sister, Lee, AND donating 15% of all sales to ovarian cancer research. Updates include Feel the Teal t-shirts available from Choose Hope, a request inspired by last week's "tealmobile" from a woman in Houston who hopes to raise awareness at the nation's largest art car parade, and more exciting news from Deb Stevens. With Valentine's Day coming up, your host shares helpful hints for this heartfelt holiday. Tune in to Feel Teal Talk HERE.

Take a Ride on the Tealmobile!
Until today, many of us may have believed ovarian cancer to be a silent killer, but actually it ISN'T...it whispers its symptoms. Our guest today advocates that we know what they are and LISTEN! Diane Riche is president and founder of Ribbons to Remember Foundation. The goal of their non-profit foundation is to raise awareness and educate ALL woman about the early symptoms of the disease and eliminate the myth that ovarian cancer is a silent killer. Updates include an article from Cancer Today Magazine, "Clicking With Your Health Team", what one organization in Pennsylvania is doing on End World Cancer Day (February 4) and from Australia, where Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month is underway, a special message from Deb Stevens. Your host, inspired by her guest's Tealmobile, talks about one of her most liberating road trips. Please help us keep it real and feel the teal by joining the journey with us and inviting your friends to do the same!
